Michael Ledoux is a self taught mixed media artist whose works revel with color. His pieces are loaded with deep texture, pulsing with sculptural qualities. An abstract expressionist, his sense of color and balance and a tendency to stack layers of resin on board in vivid color, make his work optimistic and unique. What gives his work an exciting edge is his fascination with process. Ledoux's love affair with technique and materials makes his oeuvre quite varied; his resin paintings fold in relief and depth over the canvas, while in other pieces he covers area in misty, lustrous tones. Mixing pure pigments and inks to tent and color creates a unique intermingling of painting and casting.

A native Texan, Ledoux began showing his artwork in 1995. Since then, he has continued to push his art by studying and working in a number of art styles. Ledoux has exhibited in Texas, Los Angeles, and New York and has a world class list of clientele. Michael lives and works in his Dallas, Texas studio.
