WE ARE ACCEPTING ARTIST SUBMISSIONS:
HCG will review artists' work ONLY in one of the three following ways:
EITHER mail in (please do NOT drop off) photographs, not slides, of your work that you do NOT need returned. You may send as many as you like but they will not be returned.
OR email the address of your web site where we can view your work
OR email the images of your artwork (including size and medium) to us at the email address below.
We ask that you email us if you can. This gives us the ability to examine your work in the time we allot for that each week . Unfortunately, we usually do not have time to talk and evaluate your art when an artist drops in because have to deal with customers first. Within 14 days of receipt you will receive a phone call or email from us IF we would like to see your work in person. Please do not take offense if you do not hear from us. We evaluate work based upon what our clients have shown that they want, not necessarily on the artistic merit of the work.
Regarding the pricing of your artwork and the gallery commission structure, those issues will be explained only after we have evaluated your portfolio.
Please understand that should we choose to represent your art, it is a requirement that HCG Gallery be the exclusive retailer of your artwork within a 50 mile radius of DFW.
If we have not responded to you and your portfolio of work has significantly changed since you first submitted it to us, feel free to submit your work again.
